We stayed 3 nights in Clara Hotel. The accommodation is very good with safe, set on a hill and all the rooms have a nice balcony with lovely view of Petra and Molivos with an amazing sea view.
The rooms are a good size, well appointed and very clean, serviced by the maid everyday. The bed was comfortable and we slept really well.
The staff at this hotel are very nice, polite and helpful.
The pool area is spotlessly clean and the pool is a great size.
The breakfast was well set up and we enjoyed the good selection of breakfast foods on offer.
I would definitely recommend staying here...

Room Tip: Most of the rooms have a sea view

We stayed 3 nights in Clara Hotel when we are in North of Lesvos. We chose to stay in Petra because it is good village and also very close to Molyvos. While staying at Clara it is easy to go Petra, just 10 minutes by walking, 2 minutes by car. Clara Hotel has really good view of Petra and Molyvos. It was so nice to make our breakfast with sea view of both villages. Breakfast is really good. Especially I like Revani and their homemade marmalade. It was perfect. Also you can enjoy in pool area. It is beautiful to swim and hang out at pool just before sunset.

Our room was clean, good quality and comfortable. Staff was friendly, helpful and nice.

I recommend Clara if you are looking a good hotel in North of Lesvos.

Stayed at this hotel for 1. week, and we're very happy with our choice. Good service, nice owners and attractive surroundings. Had a room with balcony in front of the hotels, with very nice view over the see. Didn't have any food during our stay, beside the breakfast, but not much activity there.

My husband and I stayed on Lesvos without a car (we are below 25 and on a budget) and were a bit worried about getting from the resort into the town of Petra. However, we shouldn't have worried--if you don't mind a walk, and bring a sun hat, then walking to town along the shoreline is no hardship. It took us about thirty minutes at a comfortable pace, and we usually enjoyed the sun set as we walked back from dinner.

We loved the pool--always clean and inviting, and not crowded at all. Don't miss a chance to take a midnight swim under the stars! There weren't many visitors in late May-early June this year, so unfortunately the poolside bar wasn't open. However, the staff was very friendly and made us drinks at the main hotel, which we carried down to enjoy poolside. They also took care of any other needs we had--booking a massage or a cab, getting soap for the dishwasher, and giving us advice on Petra and the surrounding area.

Our studio was kept impeccably clean during our stay. Our unit had a kitchen and was stocked with an electric kettle, pots and pans, a panini maker, and all the other supplies we wanted. We bought some food to prepare in the studio and enjoyed it with wine on the balcony--sharing, of course, with the friendly and ever-present cats! We do wish that there had been a few basics in the unit like oil and salt, but we made do--and the restaurants in town are so good that we ate out for most meals!

The views at Clara are really phenomenal--I got up one day to watch the sunrise over the mountains and was not disappointed. Don't miss the breakfast buffet either--the menu changed a bit every day but always had the most delicious yogurt and honey. Overall we had an amazing time and would recommend Clara to anyone visiting the island!

Room Tip: All views are great, but Clara may not be a good option if you have difficulty with stairs.

Kms away from neighbouring towns,so really silent, very silent.....4 flats but just one flat reachable with elevator-for others stairs for healthy and undrunken visitors-, rooms clean, very simple furnıture,I counted 7 lamps but still dark inside,no sleepers for foot, very very very rough tap-water quality so unpossible to have a piece of foam with ordinary hotel soap and shampoo, metalic chairs at terrace,be aware they'll be very hot during summer season under the sunshine, breakfast rich with unlimited hot drinks, staff wears no uniforms to be recogniced so look around and guess for a possible hotel worker before asking anybody for assistance.....

Room Tip: first floor for stair reasons
