On our first evening on Santorini we walked in without reservation, and thanks to a colder evening, all people chose tables inside and we were the only ones to spend a romantic evening outside, with a table right at the edge of the cliff, with a great sunset and amazing food.
The staff was attentive and helped us choose one of the best fish dishes that we have ever had. So much so that we had to recreate this recipe on our own and have been making it at least twice a month since. The sea bream was grilled to perfection, with lots of flavour and, to our surprise, mint! From that moment, mint in our house is no longer used only in mojitos ;)
After the main course and a bottle of Assyrtiko we moved inside and had a great chocolate soufflé dessert and coffee.
We chatted with the waiter for at least 10 min, he was very friendly and the conversation was natural. We were the last people to leave, yet we didn't feel rushed.
We will definitely be back next time we are on the island!
