Spacious rooms, tastefully decorated interiors throughout, breathtaking views and friendly service ~ we would return to Hotel I Frascone in a heartbeat!

We were welcomed by the friendly concierge, enjoyed an aperitif on the hotel terrace before venturing into the charming town (a 5 minute walk) for dinner on the main piazza.

Make sure to stay for breakfast in the morning ~

Room Tip: All rooms enjoy the surrounding view

We have just returned from a 3 night stay. The hotel was lovely and charming. We had really amazing views from our room. It was perfect for a family, basically we had 2 rooms joined together, which offered lots of space. Large bathroom too.
The bed was huge and comfy and shower great.
Breakfast on the terrace was simple but felt special with amazing views. We also enjoyed drinks on the terrace after a long day out. The staff were helpful and friendly.
We explored the local area by train which is accessible by walking from the hotel though the trains aren’t very frequent.
The walk up to the restaurant isn’t very pleasant but it is possible to walk down away from the busy road and back up to avoid this. We enjoyed our food at the restaurant but didn’t eat there every night.
We would defiantly stay again- opening our curtains to the view is worth it!

Beautiful vista over the valley, charmingly decorated throughout, friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast on the terrace. We went full board, where you take dinner at the Bar de la Place, a not-so-charming 700m walk along the road up into the village but serving good, hearty Corsican food.

This hotel was a real pleasure to stay in. Beautiful, stylishly decorated, big rooms. Very light. Wonderful rainshower. Airconditioning. The bed is a little short, so if you are over 1.90m, you will not sleep great here. Also a little welcome gift on the desk, local biscuits!

The hotel is an old building so you can hear other people walking around, showering, sneezing, . But That’s kind of part of her charm. The only downside of it was that they started cleaning some rooms very early (around 7.30h) and the sound of that woke us up and kept us up.

The breakfast are a few pistolets and croissants, yoghurt, oranje juice and coffee. Very simple but fine.

Just don’t go for halfboard and don’t eat at Bar De La Place. What a terrible service over there! You can eat very well at Corte, just 15 minutes away and worth the drive.

The Hotel was our base for three nights as we explored the central area of Corse. Our room looked out over The Valley, The view in the morning as the sun rose was gorgeous. The room was of a good size, the bed confortable and it was spotlessly clean. The decor of the rooms set a lovely feel to the place. The main road and rail line pass within yards of the hotel but in the evening everything became quiet. Breakfast on the terrace was perfect. The view was great. There was also a small bar so a lovely cold beer was waiting after a long, hot day out. The welcome was warm and friendly. Overall, a great place to stay, but book early.
