Arriving on a building site did not give us a good first impression. However, the apartment is in a finished part of the estate. This is not a two bedroom apartment as described by the Trip Advisor site. As a result it was not a comfortable week for the four of us (family with teenagers). The sofa-bed in the kitchen diner is comfortable, but you have to sleep with the noise of the kitchen appliances and there is no door to the kitchen/diner to separate the room from the rest of the flat. It is one bedroom and should be described as such. The owner supplied a camp bed for us, but it was filthy dirty, perhaps stored in a garage without a cover and no attempt made to clean it. The lack of hygiene was a problem generally. On arrival, a pair of underpants on the terrace, personal bathroom items left behind, hair in the bath, drawings on the mirror, a filthy bathmat and everything you touched on the patio was sticky: we didn’t use it. The patio windows were dirty: handprints of a small child all over them. The dishwasher was broken and no attempt made to repair it during our stay. It was the first seaside apartment rented where there was no beach equipment to borrow: no umbrella, toys, mats etc. The kitchen is not very well endowed with plates, cups and equipment. Just enough to get by, but if you really like to cook for yourself, probably not for you. It has a fabulous view, which saved it from being a completely unsatisfactory experience. The landlord needs to up his game with hygiene and maintenance and the price for the week needs to reflect a ONE bedroom apartment: it is overpriced.
