Nice hike, though, and a decent-sized falls. To get a better view of the falls, do the zipline tour.

Ok so you have to pay $4 to walk about 20 yards and see a waterfall that really isn't that great. My reccommendation is you pay $125 at Ty's Sports Bar for the ATV trip that goes on back roads through the mnts and jungle where you get to see a really amazing waterfall and swim in the natural pool.

Well done. Nice exhibit outside of zip line route- zig zags down the hill and over the waterfall. Given a walking stick and a guide. 10 min walk to do all. Rough rocky concrete walk and 2 neat low suspension bridges. Guide pointed out 1 hummingbird, one tree strangling another and took a picture of us all at the waterfall. Maybe be getting a littel steep for $4. It was cool in the shade with the walk along the creek. Another fee for a swimming hole down the creek aways.

A lovely, shady place to spend time hiking, zip-lining and swimming in the cool water. The zip-lining can be done as a mini-tour of one run for $15, or the full 4 runs for $50. Lovely place!

One of the nice places to visit in El Valle de Anton is El Chorro Macho, a large waterfall.
It's a short trip by car from the center of El Valle to the entrance of the attraction.
You have to pay a fee to enter the park. The walk to the waterfall is easy and takes about 10 minutes or even less. You walk over some suspension bridges and a path which can be slippery. You can get a walking stick at the entrance, which can give you a lot of extra stability.
The waterfall is beautifull: you can admire it standing on a small platform.
We did not see any wildlife in the park, but it was already late afternoon when we visited it. The surroundings are beautifull with nice plants. It gives you an impression, the easy way, of a rainforest.
If you want to have a more natural view and feel of a rainforest, you have to go further up the road (which changes from a paved road into a dirt track at the park entrance) and visit the Cerro Gaital National Park.
Anyway, the waterfall is certainly worth the visit!
