I have booked a standard room in your property few weeks ago via agoda. As per my understanding agoda would charge my card but then your hotel charged my card. I have contacted agoda and clarified the matter it seems my booking was booked through booking.com allotment that's the reason the hotel charge my card.

This is confusing, and when I contact your hotel to also clarify they were not aware how my card was charge when the booking was made through agoda.

Secondly your staff keep reminding my room category is the lowest category and the cheapest which means i cant demand too much.I booked the standard room at the price of RM165 Per night which is not really cheap and your staff should learn to respect all type of guest category instead of reminding the guest you're paying the cheapest category therefore all your request is depending on our occupancy that day.

If you guys think standard room is for low class guest then first thing first you shouldn't even sell that room and keep it for your last minute guest, treat your guest with respect as they are also paying and not staying for free.

Dear Holidayviking
Thank you for your frank review of our cozy and affordable budget hotel in best location at Batu Feringghi. Please note that in this location the rates a slightly higher than in less good areas. You might know that we offer 3 (out of 6) room categories online and all agencies share the same allotment. We do suspect that Agoda could not charge your card and therefore pushed your reservation to booking.com because then we need to charge.
Please apologize if you felt not being handled the way you expected. Our staff intention was to make you aware that your room is the smallest and give you the opportunity to upgrade to a better room. The result seems to have become a missunderstanding and we are truly sorry for that.
Our entire team hopes to get another chance to host you and your family and friends at our place during your next Penang trip.

Good enough to sleep and recover after whole day round trip the penang. Breakfast for 2 with local food worth of paying. Location of the hotel are near to the night market and restaurants. If you driving with your own car, hotel will provide parking space.

Dear En Mohd Zahidan

Thank you for your recent review, which our entire team is learning from.
However, we do promote our hotel as cozy budget hotel in great location and this is surely the reason why you checked in to our place. You were happy until you did check out late and we did charge for the extra hours, as already advised and agreed earlier by your goodself. Therefore we are not understanding why you finally give us such a bad rating as we did everything we could, even the receptionist called your handphone to remind and you answered that you don't mind. Yes, bigger hotels in the same area have bigger rooms, but also at least triple the price on weekends and school holidays.
We all hope that you can re-consider your rating and amend accordingly in due course. Looking forward to have another chance being your and your loved one's host, we remain for now with warm regards.

We only stayed one night and only needed cheap accommodation as we weren't staying long. Price was good compared to the larger hotels. Staff were very helpful. Room was small but clean. Toilet and shower were a combined cubicle which wasn't too bad. Hotel was in a great position, right amongst the action and walk across the road to the beach.

Room Tip: Get one facing the front as you get a bit of a view.

As mentioned the price was a bit steep for the facilities available there. Despite renting a high end room there was no refrigerator. The bathroom was cramped. Breakfast has little spreads. Although the night life around the hotel was good. Night market bazaars and restaurants were available at night.

Dear Helang

thanks for your review and highlighting the area which is indeed excellent. Please note that as a budget hotel we do not advertise our wet-cells as proper bathrooms. It is merely a private "wet-cell" with shower and WC which is still better than having to use shared facilities over the corridor that is found in most budget hotels around here. Also do all of our rooms provide windows, which is not common in our competitors. The breakfast is something we throw in for free since last month, as the bookings and confirmations to all booking channels are featured still without breakfast (room only) and we do not charge for it. Our spread is a continental breakfast with choice of 2 different coffee's, 2 teas, chocolate drink (Milo and/or Ovaltine), sliced fruits, sliced cakes, toast with 2 different jam choices, chocolate spread and peanut butter. On weekends we also give cheese spread. Trust that this is a good choice for our standard of hotel and do look forward to greet you and/or your friends during the next trip to Penang here in our cozy budget hotel, where Penang is rightly at your fingertips.
