Villa Mar is on a corner, where the main street turns east along the beach (the opposite side of the island from the ferry dock).
There is a bar, with swings, and the tables are on the sand under sunshades or palapas. The staff are gregarious and fun. The beer (and sodas) are cold and the food is generous and fresh.
We ate lunch here four times between 22 & 28 November 2017. Some of our favorites were the Coconut Shrimp, Shrimp Ceviche, Shrimp Moho de Aho, Guacamole, Fish Ceviche, and the Whitefish Moho de Aho.
