Owner description: Rhyl SeaQuarium has an open seafront location and sits on the beautiful North Wales coastline. We would like to welcome all new explorers to join us on a voyage of discovery as we travel beneath the waves, from tranquil fresh waters to the cold depths of the abyss. Along the way we will encounter the strangely shaped sturgeon, as well as sharks found off our very own coast and rays that glide effortlessly through the water. We will also find solitary lobsters, conger eels and mystical axolotls before entering the Lethal Reef, home to some of the most poisonous animals on our planet. These are just a few of the amazing, strange and beautiful animals that await us on our adventure.

Daughter wanted to experience Sea Quarium. What a huge disappointment this place is. £30 for two adults and a child for an experience that lasts 20minutes, although we tried to stretch it out to at least an hour. You had to pay extra to take part in the Easter treasure trail which we did of course! General feeling of a run down, dirty, unkempt building that sees no reinvestment. It made the aquatic creatures look sad and ill. Even the art activities on the timetable was just colouring in an egg! Staff member just sat there supervising the equipment. Why not do a little demonstration, bring a bit of life into the place. This place will not last unless something is done about the building and general everyday maintenance. An injection of life and interesting activities for children would liven the place up. Something could be done to change it! Won’t be visiting this dull, dismal place again unless something drastic changes.

A short visit here with plenty to see, read about and learn. You can obtain a stamp to re-enter at any time during the day.

Great place to visit. Have been a few times and the kids love it. Super friendly staff and really helpful. Seal show is great. Food nice and reasonably prices. It’s not a huge place but you can get a stamp on entry and go back any time during the day you visit. Good for a wet miserable day for something to do but equally superb in the summer for the seal shows etc.
Right next to the beach, parking literally right next to it and town centre across the road. I can get a double buggy round easily so no access issues.
