We popped in for a quick bite before visiting the Roman Army museum and really enjoyed the delicious soups and sandwiches. The bread that came with the soups was incredible - moist and nutty and simply delicious. The friendly woman serving managed to both make all the food and serve a full house and almost made it look easy. Everything was great (and surprisingly inexpensive given the quality- the soups and bread were £3.95, my son's poached eggs on toast was £3.50 and daughter's sandwich £3.95 - crazy good value).
