Amazing breakfast buffet with unlimited champagne and huge selection, pool staff are very friendly, rooms are big and nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk to all the restaurants in the port. We didn't eat at the hotel as the menu seemed bland and we had heard poor reviews about the food but this isn't an issue as there are hundreds of amazing restaurants only a short stroll away, however we did use the pool bar each day which serves great food at reasonable prices. My only criticism would be the fact that in august when there were loads of kids at the hotel, there was nowhere to escape the sound of screaming kids. The pool is separated into three tiers and it would have been nice if the top tier had been adults only so that people can sunbathe around the top tier if they don't want screaming kids right infront of them, or to make a quiet sunbathing/seating area in the gardens away from the pool.

Dear guest,
Thank you so much for your kind comments. We loved to hear that you liked our breakfast buffet and the cleanness of the room, I will transmit your compliments to our housekeeping department, amazing ladies that try always their best.

To improve our dinner a la carte service our chef Nando is working in a new menu for next season, with more choices for each course and a gastronomical offer more focused in local and seasonal products.
Hope you come and try, will love to hear your opinion!

Sunny greetings from Port d’Andratx!

We wanted some last sun before the onset of winter and decided to return to the Mon Port for our third visit. This hotel is situated a 15 minute walk through the impressive marina to the town. It is not a huge hotel and only three storeys high.We had a first floor room which was very well presented and a good size. The hotel is well equipped with indoor and outdoor pools, spa and gym. Breakfasts were excellent with a good choice to suit all tastes and even included free Cava. There is a poolside bar/restaurant at lunchtime and a good one inside for evening meals. Definitely deserves it's 4 star status with very attentive and friendly satff. I have no doubt that we will be returning yet again in the future.

Room tip: Ground floor if you want a small priveta garden of first/ second floors for a balcony and slightly larger rooms.

Dearest guest,

It makes us super happy to hear that you enjoyed your third visit to Mon Port.
Thank you so much for your trust and loyalty!
It is true, the end of the season always surprises our visitors, the sunny days in the middle of November are a blessing in this beautiful island.
I cannot imagine a best way to start a beautiful day than with a glass of Cava and fresh orange juice while listening to the soft music of a piano playing.
We love to pamper you!

Wishing you a happy winter and hoping to welcoming you back in your Mon Port,

Hotel Mon Port Manager.

We recently stayed for a week in this lovely, well-appointed and spotlessly clean hotel. Our room was tastefully decorated and the amenities include a great gym and spa. Delighted with everything. Would return to stay at this hotel and resort.

Dearest Carol,
Thank you so much for your nice words, that encourages us to go on this path.
Like you, our guests appreciate a lot our gym and Spa facilities, with amazing beauty treatments; one of my favourite is the Vital Plus that combines a stimulating massage with reflexology and Indian Head Massage. Maybe for a next visit.

Wishing you a happy time,
Sunny Greetings!

my wife and I returned from a week at the Mon Port Hotel and Spa a few days ago. We had got an incredible deal on line for this hotel, (not through the hotel ), which included flights with Ryan Air. The deal was for half board, with an upgrade to a superior room. Like reviewers before me, it is fair to say the hotel is a little dated. It is spotlessly clean, and the furnishings are OK, but, it feels as if it could do with a face lift. If nothing else, replace the shower curtain, we both hated that. Having said that, the friendliness, and helpfulness of the staff go a long way towards offsetting any negativity. All the staff we had dealings with were great. especially reception.
The breakfast is really good. Not only the food itself, variety, and quantity, but it is totally self service. which means no trying to catch the waiters attention when you want another coffee. We loved it. Although reviewers before have had mixed feeling about dinner. We generally thought it was good. There is a four course table d'hote, but there is only one dish offered for each course. So it's a bit of a gamble whether you like all the Chefs choices. We usually went for the A la carte menu. There is several choices for starter, main, and desert, and you can choose a dish from each. The only negative is, there isn't a great deal of choice, and it was the same menu every night., but we thought it was a good deal. We found it better value to buy the wine by the glass, instead of the bottle, which isn't usually the case. Check it out before you order. There was entertainment most nights in the lounge. the quality varied quite a bit. If you see Sebastion, and Antoine advertised, make an effort to see them. I am an entertainer, so I am usually rather critical, but these guys are fantastic. The weather wasn't as good as we had hoped, so we didn't spend too much time by the pool. The pool is a collection of three, each one cascading into the one below. The pool guy was always on hand to help. Towels are available from the pool guy using the card given at check in. There is a pool bar/snack bar by the pool, but we found this a little expensive..
The biggest problem for guests without a car, is the distance from the restaurant/ shops area of the port. I've attached a copy of a map I got while I was there. If you can see it, the hotel is number 1, near the top, and you can see the " life" of the port is on the opposite side of the bay. Even allowing for the short cut from the car park, it is still a fair walk. Once there, there, there is a good selection of bars, and restaurants, and if you venture into the back streets, there are a few nice boutique type shops. The overall feeling I got from the Mon Port was, Comfortable, but needs a bit of TLC.

Room tip: The rooms are in blocks situated around the grounds, with three floors. not placed around the pool like most hotels. There is a lift.

Thank you very much for your comments. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay specially the friendliness and helpfulness of our staff, I will transmit the compliments to them immediately.
I am glad to inform you that in our facilities improvement plan for next year the replacement of the shower curtains is in the first place.
Also, our chef and his team are working in a new dinner menu, with more choice for each course and a gastronomical offer more focused in local and seasonal products.
Hope to welcome you back in a next future.
Meantime have a lovely time,
