Went here to have my very first taste of this famous Portuguese custard tart, Pastel de Nata!
I fell in love with it at first bite! The tart was crispy and flaky! The custard was creamy, sweet, and cinnamony. The delicious taste combined with the crispy and flaky tart just brought happy tears! This bakery was right across a church that was made in Azorian style! I felt like I was transported to Heaven!

This custard tart has been on my bucket list for quite a while. I am glad that this bakery did not disappoint and first taste of it proved that it was worthy of being on someone’s bucket list!

I was very suprised because A Merenda is very famous for their amazing deserts, they have a huge varaity od really good pastries. But they also have good local food such as beef meet, hamburger and diferent salats that is great for a QuickTime lunch.
