Tukatula is a quaint little place, and the food is excellent. It takes a bit of time to be served because everything is made to order, but it is absolutely worth it. Depending on what you order, you could get a very good bargain here. My husband and I visited Tukatula twice, and on one of the visits he ordered a steak sandwich which was a large piece of perfectly cooked steak on delicious bread, and it was 4 Euro! I loved the clams so we ordered them both times, and both times they were spectacular. The pasta on other diners' plates looks excellent, and I wished I had more time to return to try one of those dishes. I ate a tuna salad, and it was so fresh and tasty. My husband and I split a large fish dish which was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend Tukatula!!!

Food is good for snacks and drinks are fine. However, they were out of a local craft beer I like but the soup and cheese board were just fine.

We visited Tukatula on a stormy day so hatches were battened! So no view today - but incredible location! Food was really delicious - we had the chef special hamburgers which were sooooo yummy! I completely recommend! I imagine on a calmer day you could spend hours at this spot eating delicious food, sipping great coffee and beer and staring out to the big sea!

My wife and I wanted to check out the surf beach in Ribeira Grande, and stopped in here for a coffee. The food smelled so good that we ended up ordering lunch as well. I had an incredible tuna steak sandwich with seared tuna on bolo bread, and my wife had a tuna wrap with a salad. One of the best meals we had on the island, and a great place to watch the surf!

We loved this place not just for its gorgeous ocean views, but also for the super friendly staff. Perfect place to get a drink or coffee (the best coffee we had during our entire visit) while watching the surfers. Didn't get any food, but would definitely recommend giving it a try.
