We stumbled in on a Sunday afternoon after canyoning. It was full of local families enjoying the day together. Genial welcome and beautiful space facing the beach with crashing waves. We ordered local specialties - sangria, lampish, octopus, bread and cheese - all served with a local flair and delicious. We very much enjoyed this afternoon meal.

We had two beautiful evenings in this restaurant! I can only tell good things about the quality and the flavour of the salads, the great cocktails and the more than tasty deserts! The prices are absolutely okay and to complete a fanatastic evening, you can enjoy the ocean view and a sky red as fire.

The service to us was bad. Others were served more quickly, we had to ask several times for order. The position of our table could be a reason. That point aside the food was nice and reasonable priced. I hope just maybe a bed experience for us.

We went out for dinner without reservation. No problem!
I took the fish and prawns with bacon. Very nice! My girlfriend took the curry rice with vegetables. Simple but the flavours where good!
Service was nice and prices ok.

Alabote was a nice stop for an early dinner in Ribeira Grande. Its a busy waterfront/beach area but Alabote was a great Oasis. The fish was nicely prepared and the service was good. We enjoyed the outdoor patio.
