The name is actually Restaurante Faria without the 's' and is a very authentic and local restaurant deserving delicious food. We arrived for a late lunch and they were happy to accommodate even though the kitchen was looked to be closing. We had the squid and beef stew and they were out of this world and really cheap! Do note the portion size is huge. The service is great too - they even translated the whole menu into English for us. I would highly recommend if visiting San Miguel!

We were delighted to finally have lunch at this restaurant...it's kind of tucked in behind behind the bar, the extensive fish menu was explained to us in English buy our charming waiter Paulo, excellent food and a memorable day in Ribera Grande.
