Pinerolo is largish town but seems to have no hotels, certainly we couldn’t find any in the centre or on the outskirts. Finally, we stumbled on Regina and fortunately they had a room. The receptionist was friendly and spoke good English. Being in the centre of the town, getting to the ample carpark at the back of the hotel involved driving right round the block. The room was really a suite, a decent sized bedroom, sitting/eating area, two smallish balconies and a kitchenette. It was more than we needed for a one-night stopover. The rooms were all finished to a very high standard, smart, elegant even, spotless and well equipped. The rooms are part of a new annex to the hotel so to get to them from reception involves going out and along the street. It being Sunday, the restaurant, which looked large and pleasant, was closed so we ate in one of the many restaurants, bars and cafes a couple of minutes walk away
The bed was comfortable and the rooms very quiet.
Breakfast was extensive but very much in the Italian tradition, lots of sweet cakes and pastries, plenty of it and all good quality but just not my breakfast preference. However there was just enough savoury stuff to give a reasonable breakfast. The hot water for the tea was just about hot, but not hot enough, this is a coffee drinking culture.
Overall it was a very relaxing night. Quiet, high quality accommodation. At €90 for B&B for two it was good value considering what we got, although that was rather more than we really needed. Recommended.

It is a good place to be in the city.
The "residence" was a good solution to have a more modern hotel area. But it is not comfortable because you are 50 meters far from the hotel services.
The shower had so big leakages that final amount of the top was poor with no pressure.
Room was clean, but a little bit warm for be full comfortable.
The breakfast has not improved in the last 15 years.
Your first time gives a good impression, when you repeat, you find stupid things that reduce your comfortability

Room Tip: Modern, the "residence" Close to the services, room in the hotel

We stayed here 3 nights to enjoy the "Man in the Iron Mask Festival" which the central location is ideal for. We would like to have tried the restaurant, but the breakfast was the worst we had this whole trip, which put us off. We enjoyed the room facilities which were clean & had a kitchenette which was handy to know for future bookings. However, we were a bit disconcerted as the veranda doors were left open each day on our return, with fairly easy access across the roof, but maybe they have a low crime rate in this area! I hope to return with daughter & grandchildren next year, but hopefully not include the breakfast.

Room Tip: In the separate block of the hotel

Websites translating from different languages does not always work very well. On arrival, we parked in the public spaces in front of the hotel but was delighted to discover that the hotel had free parking spaces behind the hotel (wast given small map on how to access the area). The Front Desk Person was super friendly and extremely helpful.

Pinerolo business closes early so the hotel has a system that they buzz you in to the hotel and you push a button to get out of the hotel. They use the old key system where you leave your key with the front desk when ever you leave the hotel (like it use to be throughout Europe). Keep in mind that this is an older hotel but clean and well maintained. There are signs of the hotel being slowly upgraded but keeping the old charm in mind. Our room had been newly painted and bathroom upgraded. The beds were quite comfortable with in-room safe, mini-bar, hair dryer, small flat screen tv, good wifi, etc.

We did hear people in other rooms but there was a number of business people staying here and everything quiet down early and we had a great night sleep.

The breakfast room was small but very nice (lots of beautiful old wood) with a large and varied food selection. We had the best croissants here and they offer to make you a cappuccino when entering the room.

Don't like to say awful things in reviews but alas this is one of those. The lady in charge was perfectly nice and friendly. However, the rooms are awful. Shower dreadful. Overall, a run down place and would avoid. Close to town centre but that is it.
