We booked at very short notice and were pleasantly surprised. We arrived just after 1700 and the check in desk informed us that we were being checked into a water view room. This room was on the corner of the hotel and was almost a 180 degree view of the entire peninsula from mountains to sea. The bed was uncomfortable and we had to put the blankets from the cupboard under the sheet to make it better. Walls were thin and the kids in the next room were audible late at night.
The hotel is about 1km from the train station which was walk-able and not to difficult to get to. The town of Piano had some nice restaurants.
Access to the water is via an elevator about 30m from the hotel to the left of the entrance of the hotel as you look to napoli. It costs 50 cents, but beats the road.
Breakfast was light and did the job, nothing to great.More
