Popped out to 8a last weekend. Service was really friendly as always. I had prawn tacos to start and steak for mains - didnt break the bank and really tasty. Need to get back to try the lamb burger on the menu, looks unreal.

Very pleasant Restaurant, indoors very comfortable with interesting out sitting area to watch the world go by. The service was good, the food perhaps could do with a little brushing up. Two had fish which was very well presented, regrettably but both did not finish, the salad required a little life, seemed to have been made some time previously and was not refreshing. The steak was cooked as requested and all finished. Wine at agreeable prices. Would give another visit, not good to give final judgement after one visit.

Good food, friendly service, nice atmosphere, decent value (for Ireland). Well worth trying. Many of the diners seemed to be regular customers, which is always a good sign.

Even though we reserved we waited a bit for a somewhat cramped table for five. Appetizers were better than main courses. Service was quite average as well.

We went to 8A Brasserie recently for dinner and then came back for brunch a couple of weeks later. Both times the food was served beautifully, in fact the whole restaurant has a modern and unique design. Everything was delicious and fresh and when it's sunny they have a terrace outside. Can definitely recommend this place, especially in combination with a walk around Monkstown and seapoint or Dun Laoghaire pier.
