Stayed here whilst in Pezenas for a friends wedding. Room was huge with high ceilings, kitchenette and separate bedroom. Bob the owner is extremely welcoming and helpful and makes an excellent breakfast which is an experience on the terrace. There is also an honest wine and beer fridge filled with local wines and beers and a booklet with information on them all if you fancy trying some of the local vintages. A short walk to the town centre with its restaurants and beers and very quite at night. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed in the Poisson Suite at the end of July for a few nights with our grandson. This is a wonderful B&B, located on the edge of the historic and happening town of Pezenas. When we arrived we were greeted by a cut out sign of a man with a blue striped shirt, welcoming us by name – such a nice touch. There were gentlemen playing boules (or is it called petanque?) under the trees next to the inn.

We especially enjoyed our breakfasts in the courtyard with local jams in interesting combinations, homemade yogurts and delicious croissants and bread, while discussing our plans for the day with the owner, Bob, and getting his valuable input.

I highly recommend the Poisson Suite if you are traveling with a child, as we never felt like we were tripping over each other with the amount of space the suite had, which included a single bed set up in the living room for our grandson. It has high beamed ceilings, with an open living room / kitchen, and a small terrace overlooking the courtyard. The big bed is very comfortable, and the large bathtub in the bathroom, which is curtained off from the bedroom (no door), is delightful for a soak at the end of the day. There is also a separate shower stall in the bathroom as well.

The town of Pezenas is absolutely charming. The historic core of the town is about a five minute or so easy walk, and is filled with artists’ workshops and restaurants. Don’t miss the Saturday market.

Air de Vacances is a warm and welcoming place, thanks to our host and hostess, Bob and Isa. We hope to be back!

We spent 3 nights here at the beginning of July and Robert the owner was charming. He advised us on all the local places to visit and recommended some fantastic places to eat especially "Ginger" which is literally opposite run by a delightful couple set in their courtyard full of vintage furniture and delicious food.
Our room at the back was an apartment including an open-plan sitting room and kitchenette and separate bedroom with bathroom.
Our favourite time was breakfast in Roberts lovely courtyard with a great breakfast . Homemade juices, fresh fruit and local jam and the best croissants and bread we have ever had!
We can't wait to go back as we loved Pezenas with its old streets, fabulous buildings and shops and lots of restaurants all in walking distance.

We knew from the minute we saw the cutout figure and the board with our names on, welcoming us, that this was for us. The room (more an apartment) was light and airy, with a large comfortable bed. There's a small kitchen, a large bookcase, a lounge area, the bedroom and a large bathroom (albeit only seperated from the bedroom by a curtain). Bob the host and his wife are very warm, welcoming and helpful. To have breakfast in the garden with his home made bread, fruit smoothies and a selection of interesting and deliciously flavoured jams was a real pleasure. Wouldn't hesitate to return..

We are very regular visitors to the South of France and we chanced upon this establishment after a very bad experience in Montpellier. ( Last minute booking after dumping Montpellier accommodation). Owner Robert offers a lovely, personal, quirky experience. The house is old and has many steps, so that must not be a problem for you. Everything was clean and comfortable. Not modern. Great value.

A game of BOULE is going on most of the time opposite. Free parking. Easy to walk around the town. Great position. Please do the vegetarian restaurant nearby. ( even if you are not vegetarian)! All heart! Wonderful offering!

Then there is the breakfast! And brilliant Wi-Fi!

Upon approach to the town, it's a bit tatty looking, but that is quickly dispelled when you walk around the old town! Go. Now.

This is an authentic experience. Not hi-end. Just real. I can't recommend highly enough if you want authentic France!
