Thanks Ann and Blyth for a fabulous week. Your energy, entertainment and hospitality were exceptional. I'm already planning to bring the kids back. I'm not sure how to describe your wonderful Homestead as it's so much more than a B&B. It's an experiance and outstanding value compared to the "resort" style.

Such a lovely place! When we drove 20km out of Wanaka, still looking for the B&B, I was sincerely regretting not having checked the map before making the booking. However, the moment we stepped into Waiorau, I changed my mind and felt so lucky that I booked the room. It is the most beautiful B&B we've ever stayed. Gorgeous view, great host, very nice rooms and lovely Bebe and Bazel :) Not to mention the delicious breakfast prepared by Blyth-a chef! We would love to come back again in the skiing season.

Waiorau Homestead and it's hosts Ann and Blyth absolutely made our group holiday. The homestead was 5 star. More than a home away from home. Ann was amazing. With her contacts she managed to put us in touch with the best adventure tours from heli skiing to quad biking in the mountain tops. Her co host Blyth is also the chef and what a chef he is. 3 course meals you would be happy with in a top restaurant. I have no hesitation in recommending the homestead and confirming I'll be back with my family. Thank you Ann and Blyth for an amazing experience.

Stop reading reviews now...you have found the place you want to stay!

A wonderful lodge, magnificent views, exceptional meals and two amazing hosts who, amongst other things, arranged a helicopter pick up on the front lawn to take us heli-skiing and arranged trout fishing with a great guide and were able to direct us to all the best wineries.

I cannot wait to come back!

A very comfortable three night stay at Waiorau homestead, in fact of the best among all the B&B that I have stayed so far! The house was tastefully decorated, from the cozy living area to the dedicated dinning area to the clean, warm rooms and not to mention the huge garden with the Mountain View. Ann, Blyth and the dogs (Bebe and Bazil) are such great hosts, providing us travel tips around Wanaka and even offered to cook us dinner of their local specialty. The home cooking was delicious and probably one of our fullest meal during the whole trip. Not to mention the daily breakfast was always a treat!

The homestead is just 25 minutes drive from both the Cardona Ski Resort and Snow Farm which we went for our ski lessons and snow bike adventure at the respective places. It is also 5 minutes drive from the historical Cardona Hotel where $50 dinner vouchers were offered per couple for our stay with Waiorau homestead. The food and ambience at Cardona Hotel was great too!

Thank you Ann and Blyth for being such magnificent hosts and we will definitely revisit gain for a longer stay the next time round!

Room Tip: All the rooms are fantastic!
