The resort don't keep it a secret regarding the prices charged, however their website does not appear to incorporate the new taxes, and as such prices are slightly higher.
Keeping in mind the current exchange rate while I stayed there, one beer, cost us around 15 FJD or 8USD. The food packages available, I would highly recommend if you plan on eating a decent amount as the individual meal prices are ridiculously high. I wouldn't have minded paying the price we did for food, however the food was consistently underwhelming. A resort with a dedicated kitchen and a maximum of 20 guests at a time, should be able to prepare hot fresh food particularly when you had to pre order your meal. They cannot. There was very little consistency between the meals. Sometimes they were delicious, other times they were cold and under cooked. We were served semi raw lobster on occasion, along with steak that was also undercooked.
Several of the staff were fantastic, however if you are not a couple I would suggest you stay somewhere else also. They seem to expect that you do everything with the person you come with.

Overall, it is a great location to relax in. There is not much to do as the snorkelling tours they offer range from 12.50USD pp to 25.00USDpp. Some of these are about a 15minute boat ride away from the resort and only lasted an hour and as such it seems to be way to expensive. There are a number of other activities on offer, however they too seem overpriced.
The food was the biggest let down, undercooked, cold and somewhat less flavoursome that expected. All of the food seems to be frozen, and as such the best food was available on the Saturday when the boat with fresh food arrived. Fridays food wasn't that great to say the least.
In addition to this you are restricted to the Northern end of the island unless you have a guide as we were turned back from walking south because we were heading towards the village (we never in fact even came within eyesight of the village).

Room tip: All rooms seem to be great. Garden bures though do seem to be a lot smaller.

Extraordinary resort with wonderful bures and great service.
The food was excellent as were the cocktails.

We did not go for the menu as there were too many courses in the hot weather.
The dinner was amazing and fairly priced.
As you would expect, all is to pay for.

The atmosphere was very charming and service personnel as other guest enjoyed socializing each evening.

We just left Navutu and miss it already.
The people and secluded feeling make it perfect in our mind. We came for our honeymoon and truly enjoyed our 4 days because we had tons of activities to do, time to relax on the secluded beach and time to learn from the staff. There were no rules or strict guidelines, this is not a luxury Hilton but that's what made it so special.
No AC but this didn't bother us because it's so breezy at night. No need to do meal plan, just order a-la-carte. Free coffee/tea brought to your room whenever you wish.

Activities:
The yoga, village walk, cava drinking with the staff, coconut demo & basket weaving, blue lagoon snorkel visit, handling fishing were our favourite. They will cook the fish you catch and add some fries & veggies free of charge - An amazing experience!!!

If you want pure relaxation and a true "pacific Fiji experience" come here!!!

We have been around the world, but this was truly memorable. Thanks to the staff!

This is a perfect place for couples, there's no doubt about that. We couldn't be happier we've chosen Navutu Stars for our honeymoon. We loved everything about it and cried like babies when leaving. Navutu Stars will always stay in our hearts and we'll do everything to go back there in the future. The biggest asset of this resort is surely its staff. Those kind Fijian people are a treasure of the world. They had a big impact on our lives with their loving nature, honest and warm approach and wisdom. Thank you so much everybody, I hope you know how amazing you all are.

However...

My advice for people who are looking for a place to stay in Fiji would be: please research! Find a resort suitable to your needs, read reviews and descriptions, be aware that this one is not for those who are looking for a Hilton-style luxury! This is an eco resort, you'll have to say goodbye to your social media and dis-attach yourself from your electronic devices, it's going to be you, your partner and the nature only. For us, this was an absolute advantage of this place. Being able to hear your own thoughts again, connecting with the nature and focusing on each other and not being distracted by phones - it recharged our batteries for the whole year. Unfortunately we saw people coming there and complaining from the start about not being able to use wifi in their bungalows, not having AC or even the tides making the beach look less nice (come on!). They were spoiling everybody else's moods and I'm sorry, but making fools of themselves too...

Spent 3 nights here and had a blast. Daily snorkeling trips to other islands, great dinners, beautiful beach for walking. Hope we can come back someday. Recommend to management that they play more authentic Fiji-style music in the main area as the European club-style music is out of place. Other than that, we had a wonderful time!
