Hotel was good. Close proximity to the airport and very close to port denarau where you have lots of options for dining. You wouldn't want to swim in the beach though. We didn't. A very family friendly resort. The best part is you have the option to use the facilities of two other hotels. Rooms are nice and cleaned daily, though bottled water was not replenished.

Food was nice at the FEAST restaurant where they gave us 50% discount on our dinner during our first night. The rest of our stay we ate at Port Denarau which is probably 5 mins away @ FJ$5.

All in all, a very good experience. The staff, specially the guys at the front desks were very accommodating especially to our very cheeky little boy.

Nice hotel.. Not much to do in Fiji unless you want to spend a lot.. Drinks at the hotel also very expensive.. And ocean view is not even a millimeter of ocean view.. If you maybe stand on the very very far corner of your room.. Bottled water was not replaced daily (part of my time deal) as we got told they would and our door never seemed to be locked again by house keeping.. We came back to it a lot were you could push it open without a key so lock your belongings away! Apart from these small details we were very happy here and we would defiantly stay again if there was more to do in Fiji and/or was cheaper.. (roughly similar or a little bit more then Australia) but all couples please note there are kids EVERYWHERE! We looked at a few hotels in Fiji and I would defiantly recommend if you are to go there to stay at denareau island and would recommend the sheraton but don't bother upgrading to the more expensive rooms. :) fairly good experience

We returned from a wonderful holiday in late March with our friends, we enjoyed a beautiful week of glorious sunshine then were caught up in the terrible floods, I can only comment that the Sheraton did their best to ensure our safety and comfort. The staff were wonderful, Jason Carroll deserves a special mention as do the entire catering staff. Reception staff headed by Siti were welcoming and professional , Activities staff are happy and nothing is too much trouble, we enjoyed many a great coffee at the Pantry, the pools are picturesque and relaxing, our favourite being the adults only , our room was great, large quiet, and very clean with nice views out over the water, another plus is being able to use the three resorts , so there is a good choice of restaurants for dinner, what a lovely casual way to dine, eg the Flying Fish , open air, gentle breezes, great food, beautiful sunsets, we will holiday again at the Sheraton and look forward to meeting up with the friendly Fijian folk again and their friendly Bula!!!!!! JV Gold Coast

Room tip: WE like a higher floor , not adjoining if no children,

Have just come back from the best 10 day family holiday ever had! From the start the staff at the Sheraton Fiji Resort welcomed us with a pleasant nature and warm smiles. We had an Ocean view room which was next to the Sheraton Villa's so had the best of both worlds with the use of the pools. Highly recommend eating at the Wet Edge (if they have the crab meat ravioli as a special then grab the opportunity!!) The experience we had with the staff from the Sheraton Fiji obviously went along way in making our minds up that it won't be the last time we go there, nothing was too much for them. Highly recommend you try the restaurants at Port Denarau as great variety of food types and the Golf Club is the cheapest place to eat (comes into play with a family of 4). Golfers won't be disappointed in playing a round there (discount currently applies Mon-Thurs after 3pm). If you are contemplating a trip to the Sth Pacific then certainly put Fiji at the top of your list. Nadi town is getting back on it's feet after the floods and the people of this area need you to go and spend money there!! We had no problems with catching any bugs / illnesses but then again didn't take too many risks. Recommend the island day cruise with Captain Cook Tours very good value for money and again Great Staff. The Sheraton Fiji Resort ticked all the boxes for us and would highly recommend the resort for a family stay. Contrary to news broadcasts, Denarau wasn't affected by the floods and it's business as usual

Room tip: Ocean view rooms are great but if you can, get a beach view room (better view and closer to restaurants / pools)

we stayed at this lovely resort only on a short break, 4 nights. however we were treated like royality. The location is about 25 mins from the airport, the back drop is the ocean and you are connected to 3 to 4 other resorts. All in walking distance from each other and you are able to use their facilities ie pool etc. The rooms are very clean and spacious, staff are fantastic and very welcoming. Food can be expensive so if you are able to request a free breakfast it would be a bonus. The resort provides water sports, tours, cultural nights and many more activities. My suggestion would be to do some research on places you would like to visit. All the resorts are children friendly, however there are safe havens for adults. Plenty to do and see however if you want to kick back and relax you are able to do that to.
