We stayed at the Sassdei for one week's skiing, during half term and were absolutely blown away by how good and convenient the hotel is.
We stayed B&B in two rooms, suite mountain and suite lake, which were both more than ample in size and facilities.
The food in the hotel's restaurant is delicious and I believe the Mamma of the family, who run the Sassdei, is in charge of producing really great food. We dined in on three occasions.
Our teenage children enjoyed the hotel's proximity to the main ski lift, being just in front of the hotel, which also made the night skiing a convenient must do experience.
We also loved our "Gin & Tonics" in the hotel bar and the position of the Sassdei in Andalo means we were never too far from a restaurant or local shopping.
Ample parking in the garage, a warm ski & boot room and a lift to all floors, if you are tired from skiing.
Andalo's skiing was enough for us, however I would recommend, if you are a really keen skier, to get the lift pass which gives you one day in another resort. We went to Madonna di Campiglio for one day, which gave us a great away day.
Antonella, her family and team at the Sassdei, could not have been more helpful and welcoming.
I would highly recommend the Sassdei and we would love to return one day.
