There is something for everyone in Andalo and this is also true of Hotel Select. Friendly helpful staff at reception and in the restaurant. Always willing to help the guest. The entertainment staff were fun, lighthearted and wonderful company! There was no pressure to "get involved " which made every time you did a little more special. Well organised trips and laid back evening light entertainment are a parent's dream. The children's activities too were fun, not too long or short and the staff were flexible and extremely accomodating.
The room was spacious, clean with lovely views. The cleaning staff were efficient very helpful. The food was good quality with an interesting variety of dishes. The kid's menu may not have been as healthy as ours but-in keeping with their helpful style- you could order off menu or choose the main menu for the kids.
I would highly recommend this hotel with its wonderful staff!

we spent 1 week at the residence Alba Nova in front of Hotel Select and owned by the same family. We stayed in a big apartment with 2 triple bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 living room and a separate kitchen where 8 peaple could also eat. The apartement was clean, quite and confy. it was a pleasure to stay there and we took advantage of the activities - also for kids - organised in the hotel (baby dance, theatre, playground), which is really very very close by (10 metres). Our kids also loved it! Andalo is a nice little village with shops and good slopes especially for kids/beginners. the hotel is centrally located but well served by ski bus- a couple of stops.

Lovely clean hotel. We staied half board for a week and had a lovely time. Food was good and plentysome. V clean and all staff where extremely friendly and helpfull. The hotel is well placed for all the skii facilities (which are excellent by the way!). Only snag is that it was a little noisy but most of it died down by 11.00 pm. Excellent for families, but I woundn't recommend it for party goers.

We spent a week at this hotel over Easter 2007. The hotel is very nice and homely as its family run. Included in the cost it boasts brand new 5* spa facilities which were greatly appreciated after a hard day's skiing. We were on a half-board basis and although there wasn't lots of choice on the menu, it varied every day and was always a high standard.
For the kids there was entertainment for them every night in the shape of Leo whom the kids loved and kept them occupied.
Highlight for me was the suprise 7-course dinner on Easter Saturday. Unbelievable high standard of cuisine and at no extra cost. They even left gifts to all guests in their rooms for Easter!!
The staff were very friendly and accomodating at all times.

A couple of buts..
Don't stay here if you dont like Italian food.
Don't stay here if you like bustling nightlife.
Probably be useful to be an Italian speaker

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is about 300 metres to the nearest cable car. We walked most days but sometimes used the public buses which are free and there is a stop outside the hotel.
