Holy smokes does this hotel make you feel like family. The entire management staff took an interest in our stay & moved mountains to make it incredible. Down to taking us for a last night special drink, arranging a special dinner, & packing us a snack for our early drive to the airport. The food is great - especially the included breakfast in bed. The bartenders loved making us special cocktails. My husband became friends with the surf instructor. We had great spa treatments & trips to Galle. Everyone made us feel a part of their families - especially the resident male peacock Albert who visited us every morning. Incredible time.

My husband and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon in November 2021 for 3 nights. We would go back in a heartbeat.

The room: the room was gorgeous! Sooo spacious and luxurious. The bed was so comfortable. The private patio and the shared private pool was awesome.

The dining: delicious. we loved every single meal. We had the most amazing server, Senith. He seriously made the experience. He got to know us, was so accommodating and friendly. We loved seeing him at every meal - it was a highlight. There was a soup I loved on the first night and the kitchen made it for me every other night we were there :)

The place overall: gorgeous main pools - two huge ones! With a beautiful view of the coast. This was our second stay with the hospitality company (Wild Coast first) and we love all their touches. We were assigned a great team member, Sherom, who helped us coordinate everything we needed - tuktuks, drivers, covid tests, and more! He made our stay so easy and enjoyable.

The activities: the resort is nearby many options! We had an amazing driver, Suranga, all trip. He drove us between resorts and also to Galle Fort where he toured us around. Suranga was a highlight of our entire trip to Sri Lanka because he was so friendly and helpful. He told us fun facts about the country, shared history and knowledge with us. It was amazing. We also spent one morning down at Weligama Beach which was a blast. warm water, fun surfing, and cute dogs running along the shore :) We also swung by a turtle hatchery on our way back from Galle. They rescue injured turtles and rehabilitate and release them. They were so cute.

We can't wait to return to Weligama!
