The building is quite new and all the rooms are good size, very clean, with TV and air-con. The guy at reception doesn't speak very good English, but we managed to communicate. Good location in a quiet alley just behind the main street with restaurants, shops and tour agencies.

Nice hotel in a good location, shame about the staff. Tried to charge us twice for our room once on arrival and then again on the second day! Knew very little English so was unable to settle the disagreement. Got very aggressive and rude and threatened to phone the police. Stay clear if you want a hassle free stay.

Firstly this place would be really difficult to find on foot as the location is wrong on bookings.com, tripadvisor and ever other listing.

The staff don't speak English but that wasn't a problem until check out. They don't seem to pay attention to your online booking and as such you have to pay on a day by day basis.

Restaurants are a 10-15 walk away.

The Wifi is good when it's working, which was about 50% of the time.

The rooms are of a good size and are clean. The shower doesn't get that hot which was a shame, especially after coming back from the plain of jars covered in mud!!

Free towels, soap and water are provided.

Travel arrangements for tours and onward buses can be made at numerous places on the street.

There is a TV with English movie channels.

Stayed one night to visit Plain of Jars. Wifi is excellent. Rooms clean. A/c is great. Reception cannot speak much English but it was fine. Free water and bottles provided in the room. The nephew, Souk, came and organised a trip with us to see the plain of jars and tailored this around our needs. Location is really good as right by the main road - but just off.
Highly recommend visiting the QLA and MAG visitor centres.
