Spent 2 nights, easy check in. Large rooms and good balcony view over the city.
Very little water pressure for the shower. Free shuttle into town with pick up from most restaurants (just check to make sure the shuttle is running as they are not very helpful to arrange other transport)
As the shuttle was not available we ate in the hotel restaurant one night, food was ok
The hotel is pretty dated and tired but clean and comfortable for our short stay

Tourism industry in Laos is developing. At Phosavan the conditions are basic so to speak.
Hotel is perfect to fit a normal night sleep. No luxuries of course, but cleanliness and hot shower you will get.
Nice location on top of hill. Very good restaurant in hotel. Nice, clean and quiet rooms. Good beds. What else could you want? We stayed 2 night in this beautiful hotel and will give it my best recommendations.
We had a bungalow with bedroom, bathroom, lounge, balcony and store room with safe and full sized fridge. The food was OK but nothing special. The staff were really helpful and made us lunch at a moment's notice. They also arranged a late check out and drive us to the airport. Slight problem when we cam to check out as there was a power cut and they could not take cards - luckily we had enough dollars to pay cash!
This hotel situated on hill top just outside town is a pleasant location for visiting the Plain of Jars and its surroundings. From the front side it has a nice view over nearby Phongsavan and from the restaurant you can overlook the rice fields. Rooms are decent with the necessary amenities and a new wing is being built.
Staff at the reception and restaurant speak so-so English, but are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is used for diner and breakfast and I found the breakfast just enough for a hotel of this standard.
My overall impression is that it is very much ok for the area and a decent location for visiting the Plain of Jars and its surroundings, but they have to improve a bit if they want to be a decent host for the upcoming SEA Games to be held in Xiengkhouang in 2020.
Clean....but that’s the best I can say. Customer service poor & unhelpful, accommodation dated & uncomfortable. If this hotel is 3 star rating ...pigs fly! You could not have pay me to stay here again.
