If you search a hotel in Phonsavan, you can find other hotel better than this one.
The night was very cold due of the window (same type of window than in some Thailand hotel). Can't sleep well because you can head peoples. Bad wifi connection. No hot water when you take your shower later.

The room we stayed in had poor conditions. It was quite dark. The bathroom was dirty and the water didnt come through. We had to ask them to fix it.
The wifi wasnt working in our room so we also had to ask for a solution. They basically said it was only working in the lobby for the moment and then gave us a second pair of keys for another room where the internet signal was - kind of - working.
The staff was unfriendly and never wanted to help actively.
I would only recommend this place if you are on a budget and looking for a basic room with hot water in a well located place.
Otherwise I would look somewhere else.
We booked this guest house and paid for it via Agoda. When we wanted to check in, the young guy at the reception said there was no booking. He seems like he knows very little English. And there is no computer in the first place for him to check. We had to argue and insist on seeing his boss before he relented and gave us a room. In fact, he tried to get us to pay again but we simply refused.
The room is quite clean but there was no hot water even though there were clearly 2 water inlets. The towel provided had stains on it. Wifi available in the reception. The rooms are too far in the back to get wifi.
Don't ever book this place!
The only good thing is, it is right next to the Lao Youth Travel agency, which provides good service at reasonable rates to Plains of Jars sites.
