Stayed 2nights for POJ tour with Vang- manager of the hotel.
Location of this place is 1 of its biggest plus point, 5min walk frm van station, plenty of AtM,local restaurants & convenience shop within 2-4m walk.Night market is a cheap option if you on a budget & don’t mind trying local eats. I had steamboat, thanks to winter :)
Room is spacious, hot water inconsistent, staff speaks basic English. Be prepared noise from construction work nearby will wake u at 8+ daily.
Vang is Hmong, had so much to share on the historical events surrounding his life&family. Just ask him anything about Laos. We did site1,2&3 for USD25,had lunch at site 2 restaurant for 18K kip.

Seems like a good place, however don't get a flat tire on a scooter rented from them. We were out in village country nowhere near anyone with a tire tube when we got a flat tire. They do not care. They told us " Fix it yourself". Nice, So check your scooter vigorously before renting from Nice Guesthouse.

Having booked our rooms on our way to Phonsavan, we were pleasantly surprised to be met by the host, mr Vang, waiting for us as our bus arrived. The guesthouse is centrally located in town, a selection of restaurants in close walking distance. The guesthouse itself is as it says, nice. It’s clean and reasonably priced, and we opted to take a tour with Mr Vang. This was really informative, way more so than if we had just hired bikes and gone alone, and way more fun. All in all, I’d recommend it.

Stayed one night here, a short walk from the mini-busstop in the market place across the main road. No food provided but a few good restaurants along the main street. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Reception staff very organized and pleasant.
