Its not a bad place, get me, but for the money they charge and the little time you are there, just could get so much more for my money and the Cincinnati Museum covers basically the same thing anyhow

What a shame, with all the things this museum could showcase, it is nearly empty. The stuff it has is interesting, but there's just not much of it. I've seen more in house museums in Lexington.

Hopefully they'll find a good manager and it will get on its feet.

Out of the attractions in Cincinnati (though not very many) this would not be one of my first choices. Although a very cool place it gets boring at times. I think they should add more things to make this center more interesting for the public. The Freedom Center is a good place for class field trips (a way to get out of school), as well as anybody who’s interested in art or history. It has a lot of educational points and can be interesting at times. I particularly went for a class field trip which ended up being a pretty good day. I learned some new things and had a chance to see different styles of art. My favorite part of it was the section that talked about slavery that still exists today. It had very informative to events I didn’t know existed. That part was eye-opening. In my opinion, my experience was pretty good, parts of it gets boring and seems to drone on. Overall it’s a good place to visit to spend a few hours and get some educational learning.

This is a hidden gem in Cincinnati. The Center can be enjoyed by adults and school age children alike. Docents are helpful and the Center is a wealth of information. Be aware that some of the exhibits on the upper floors are not age appropriate for elementary age children. However the exhibits dealing with the Underground Railroad in Ohio and the authentic slave pen are wonderful.
