Great location, close to both the beach and shops. Wonderful staff who were very attentive.
Lovely pool for a cool off dip after a busy day sightseeing & shopping.
Clean and modern lobby.
Great room, good size! Very clean.
Only negative was the laundry, two of the three dryers were broken... had to hang laundry around the room to dry. Otherwise a wonderful stay

A friend and I met here for breakfast. We both decided on the buffet. First, it was reasonably priced. They take your egg order at your table and they are very prompt with their service. The eggs were excellent. The buffet line wasn't that large. However, everything on it was well prepared. They had an assortment of juices and the coffee was really good. The server was very prompt and the price was $25 for the two of us. Reasonable in Waikiki.

When we arrived at Hilton Garden Inn at night around 9:30pm. We unloaded our luggage off the shuttle and I was expecting that some staff would help us as I was holding my kid in my arms, leaving my husband to the luggage. However, no one helped. There were about four or five bell staff just sitting there talking to each other. No one even acknowledged us or told us where the front desk was. The entrance where cars could stop is actually the side/back entrance so my husband had to lug two suitcases and two backpacks to the front desk and then up to our room by himself.

When we asked for our luggage that we stored with them on the day we checked out, they didn't acknowledge us either. Our shuttle was already waiting for us in the driveway. There were 4 bell staff just standing around until I finally got one of the guys' attention and asked if they could get our luggage out of the storage room. He told me that someone will help us shortly. This annoyed me because they were all just doing nothing and finally two of them decided to go get our luggage a few minutes later.

Other than the bell staff, the hotel is quite good. Room was clean. We had a suite and there was good amount of space for my toddler to run around. The AC is slightly loud. The elevator doors close quite fast on you and the wait can be long at times. The front desk staff were friendly. The pool is good but there's not much shade. Free coffee in the lobby in the morning; free juice in the afternoon. Great location and central to everything as it's right across from International Marketplace.

These hotel was everything we needed. Nice, clean and very welcoming but more important, the location is perfect. The Waikiki beach is 5 min walk, buses, convenient stores, dinning.... All within minutes of walk.

Hilton did an awesome job renovating this property. It is in a prime location for shopping in Waikiki. Right across from the new International Marketplace shopping mall and a bus stop right in front. Gold HH members can get breakfast buffet or pay $11.95 for registered hotel guest (otherwise $19) can’t beat the price for Waikiki!
Pool is small as are the rooms so I wouldn’t recommend for extended stays or family with kids that want space and a pool.
But there is a mini fridge and microwave in the room.
