Great place to listen to real Hawaiian music and see original hula. Mai Tai drinks are the best in Hawaii. No better place to be from about 5 to 7 pm. although in Waikiki, it is like you are in an isolated beach hotel. Excellent service.

“Worth Queuing”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 February 2012

We knew we couldn't book here and that when we finally got a table it may not be a good one. We probably waited for 30 mins to get one of the tables where you can only order pupus - this is what you want to do as these tables are closer to the hula dancing and the beautiful view. We were very lucky with our table and it was all worth the wait. The pupus are delicious, lots of variety and you can keep on ordering until you've had your fill. We particularly enjoyed the lobster roll and poke sliders. It's not a cheap night but you need to remember that you're not only paying for the lovely food and exciting drinks, but also the show and the view!

“The food here is great!”

Had the arugula salad, the cold tomota bisque. My spouse had the catch of the day. It was a delicious lunch with a wonderful setting. Definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch.

“Fantastic kids menu, fantastic atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 February 2012

I was really amazing surprised by this restaurant. The staff were all amazingly friendly and courteous. The drinks are fabulous - we had the mai-tais and they are gorgeous!

The thing that really surprised me was the kids menu - it was reasonably extensive (for a kids menu) - and the cost was reasonable $10 a main for the kids. And the actual meal size is huge though (although we have 2 and a bit year old toddlers).

The adult menu is also quite reasonably priced (average about $25 for a mains).

I really enjoyed our experience there and the music and the dancer just topped it all off! Well worth it just for that.

“High class place suitable for casual patrons”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 February 2012

Very nice, fancy dining. Easy to get a table. Live Hawaiian music during dinner set a nice tone. Ordering was difficult because it was tough to tell exactly what you were getting. I expected dinner to be a la carte, but it was more like a full plate.
