Met our needs in everyway. Shuttle avaiable for downtown, great service, parking can be an issue. Grounds kepted up nicely. Restaurant next door Safari, dinner was delicious and service was great. right on the water.

We stayed at the OceanCliff for a wedding the weekend of Labor Day Weekend. We were given room block information from the Bride and with a 3 month old it only made sense to stay on site. My first complaint is how EXPENSIVE it is, we needed a suite since my in laws were staying with us to watch the baby which meant we were put into the Oceancliff 1 & 2 (mind you you have no idea you are NOT actually a part of the hotel, you will be reminded of that from every staff member there). Apparently Oceancliff 1 & 2 are timeshares and you have to clean your own sheets and also get new ones from housekeeping - yep trek your dirty towels and sheets to housekeeping to get more. For $550 a night that's absolutely ridiculous. My next complaint is the breakfast each morning is served in the main hotel - we went there 2 times to grab muffins and coffee. By the first morning a gentleman asked if the baby slept in their hotel and I said yes she did we are in the hotel next door - apparently he didn't want to tell us so he has the breakfast attendant tell us that this breakfast is for hotel guest only. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!
I will never stay there again and I will never recommend anyone to stay there. We paid a lot of money for 3 days and I felt unwanted more than once being there with my family and baby. Keep in mind if you do bring a baby there are hardly any ramps and no elevators so you will be carrying a stroller up stairs almost the entire time.

I will say the wedding that took place Saturday night was beautiful, they have gorgeous grounds and the food was good.

Dear fhockeygirl e,

Thank you for your submission. As you have noted, the breakfast of OceanCliff Hotel is available to our in-house guests (we prepare food each day based upon the guest count of guests staying in house with us.) At the hotel we offer full daily housekeeping service each day. The timeshare OceanCliff 1 and 2, being a completely separate and unrelated business, has their own TripAdvisor page for reviews (found within vacation rentals) as well as their own procedures and protocols for breakfast, cleaning, etc. We have reached out to the timeshare property at which you stayed to ensure that their guests are being provided with the proper operating hours of our restaurant, which is available to anyone who would like to dine there.

We attended a Friday evening wedding at OceanCliff and everything was top notch. The ceremony was held on the lawn overlooking Narragansett Bay, the weather was perfect, the staff were courteous, efficient, polite and prompt. Plenty of casual outdoor seating, the reception was held indoors with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the water. Service and food was excellent and the architecture of the original mansion is truly beautiful.

Attended Jazz Fest and we were lucky enough to get a room here. The good: the staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The grounds were impeccable. The views are stuff that you dream of. The bad: No elevator. If you have trouble with stairs, please don't stay here. A few of the 3'd floor "Historical" rooms had private bathrooms down the hall which were very small and had inadequate, noisy ventilation. The rooms were dark with no lighting in the oversize closet.

Clean, well kept grounds, friendly staff and nice space! Not much else to say but it was close to the mansions, short drive to downtown and everything we needed on resort. I only wish we were able to fit in a dinner at the Safari Room. Unfortunately our toddler and his timeline didn’t allow us to try out the restaurant. Hopefully we can next time! Thank you Ocean Cliff!
