Cigarette burns in the covers, smoking smell. Stained tubs, floor grout filthy dirty. Spend the extra $50.... Windows dirty, screens dirty, old tube TVs. Not a INN but a roadside musty old. Motel, which needs a total. Gut renovation.

If you want a clean, lower cost accommodation during high season, it is a great option. It is a five minute drive to the trendy/tourist parts of Newport. It looks a bit old and run down from the outside, and the rooms are outdated, but it is clean, has good WiFi, television and AC. It worked for me because I don’t spend much time in hotels as I like to be out and about. If you want a more modern place or special amenities, it is not for you.

Really liked this place, a hidden gem in the rough. Considering that we were on a road trip and this was a last minute booking, I was very very skeptical that this might be in a shady part of the town and would have some weird never before seen insects in the room, BUT SURPRISE SURPRISE, this was a very well kept, very well done place with (i think) new management. I am surprised that we got the rates that we did and were very comfortable throughout the stay (of 1 night). Just 7 or 8 dollars to the heart of Newport by Uber and good parking spots too.

Loved it, highly recommended for budget travel as well as for couples/families who dont want to spend 400 or so dollars on a hotel room (where you spend the LEAST amount of time during your travel anyways).

Room Tip: Park here and take an Uber to the main attractions as parking seems to be very expensive!

This motel was on the low-average side of cheap motels. I went during the New York Yacht Club Invitational Cup and almost all affordable hotels were booked and short of dropping $600/night, options were limited. This motel was "clean enough" (I wouldn't say sparkling). If you're in a bind, it's an ok place to stay but I certainly wouldn't stay here again if we were too vacation in Newport.

This is a good to place to stay if you are here on a budget. You get what you pay for . when i entered the room i found that it was very clean, tv had all channels including premium content line hbo etc. Wifi was fairly good. Also this motel very close to a shopping center where there is a stop and shop, Walmart, Dunkins donuts and a few restaurants as well. This location is like 10 mins from thames st and 15 mins away from the mansions. It's not worth paying 200+ a night for a hotel if you are here too visit because all the day you will out enjoying Newport and you will just need a bed to crash at night.
