Attended a Mark Cohn concert there recently, and was impressed with the friendliness of the staff, great pizza and overall ambiance. Would definitely go back!

I was in Buffalo with a colleague for business and we had the free evening, so we endeavored to find a live music act. On a whim, we Googled live bands in Buffalo and found Buffalo Iron Works where a band was scheduled to play. We arrived at 630 but the doors were locked as the band was setting up. The doors opened at 7 and we paid 10 bucks each for admission. The space is pretty large and is a great venue for music. There are seating areas, but I would recommend getting their early to get a seat and table. There is a kitchen, but the food consists only of various types of pizza, sausages and hot dogs, pretzels. If you want to eat a hearty meal I would recommend eating prior to arrival. The bartenders were warm and professional and easily recognized their customers to attend to them rapidly. The place is clean. It was definately a good experience.

We went between hockey games. The place has no heat and it was cold and windy outside so the place was freezing. There was a bartender with long red hair who was a big knob. Not sure if he was angry because his team lost or what. I heard him several times, when people happily approached the packed bar and ask for a beer, tell them they had to say please before he served them! Never again. There are other better options within walking distance of the arena. Try them out before going to this place.

We went to eat between hockey games.
There are no wings or sandwiche’s.
Food in minimal, pretzels, pizza and salads.
It freezing inside.
Basically a bar with snacks. Didn’t even stay/ disappointing waste of time

Instead of getting into the line up to cross the border, decided to get a night cap and a cran-soda. Really liked the layout of the bar. Lots of room to view band. Good band from Carolina on stage. Large dance floor, balcony and sitting area to view the stage.

Lots of tvs to keep up on sports, good beer selection and reasonable prices. Would visit again.
