Blake House is just a short walk from the Science Springfield Museum, a person can see the facility from the admission's window. My lunch was a Turkey BLT, bag of Sun Whole Grain Chips & bottle of Apple Juice. Waited about 10 minutes before meal was delivered, which was tasty & filling. Seating is tables & chairs & a bit crowded.

The menu consist of soups, salads, chips & sandwiches. Only one room with some outdoor seating. 12 noon is not a good time to arrive as the room will be full. A person should arrive before 11:30 or after 12:30.

The staff-one man taking orders & working the cash register while a young woman making the BLT-were friendly & courteous. Once the room cleared out the cashier started using the broom.

Overall the Café is not great, yet it does offer a quick meal. A stop is recommended.

It was great to be able to park once and have food and all the museums together. The cafe was quite good with a pleasant seating area.

Yes, this is just a soup and sandwich place - but it's a very good one. And the location at the Quadrangle is excellent. Their soups are varied and well done. Their sandwiches are fresh and interesting. You can go to the museum, stop and have a coffee, soup and sandwich and then get back to the museum. With parking in that area sometimes difficult, this is a very good option.

We wandered in here after wandering through the various museums and we were hungry! The food was not fantastic, but it was acceptable. The prices were fair and it was convenient. The kids who worked there were very nice and energetic! They were doing it to earn money to pay for their college classes. A worthy cause!
