There is no place we'd rather stay than here. We always rent a casita and live like a local for a few days. The very authentic housing is close to the Plaza for sightseeing and good food and yet sits in an old neighborhood that is so quaint and lovely. We sleep well on good beds and spend time on the porch with Margaritas and watch the tourist go by. There can be no better place for guests with pets as it is stand alone housing and our dogs just make themselves at home. Our hosts have always been wonderful and give us maps and suggestions for food and hiking and entertainment, etc. I almost hate to post this review as I love the place so much and don't want it to become so booked I can't get in. If you're looking for hotel like accommodations, this isn't your place, but if you want to spend time in Santa Fe and feel like a native for the duration of your stay- this is it!

For our first stay, we were there two nights. This year, we stayed for four nights. Next time, we would love to stay for several weeks! The small apartment is close to the square in Santa Fe and yet is a quiet area. The apartment is charming, well equipped and yet not sterile like a suite in a big name hotel.
We love the wooden screen door, the unique painting in the bathroom, the ceiling fans, the colors. There is a TV in the apartment and yet when we were leaving, we realized that we had never even thought of turning it on. Only negative is that time went too quickly out there!

We had a wonderful time at Casa Del Toro! They helped keep our two-year old well behaved by allowing us to keep our schedule with the full bath and kitchen. We stocked the fridge full of Trader Joe goodies and toured SFe all around nap time! Norah had a happy stay and recommends it to others. The great astethics and clean adobe bungalow near to downtown pleased the parents. We will be back!

We have stayed at the Chapelle Casitas 3 times previously and have booked our fourth for Wine and Chile. They are the perfect combination of location, accomodations and price with a rustic charm. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a friendly staff ready to help as needed. The location is a few blocks from the Plaza and a short walk to many other places we like to frequent.

Room Tip: Some units have full kitchens, some full baths; check for what is important to you.
