We had to cancel plans to stay here in August because of Hurricane Harvey and were given a full refund on our deposit. So, we rebooked for September and were pleased with our choice. We stayed 2 nights in the historic King William area. The off street parking was a plus as well as the enormous room and bath. It was such a great place to decompress. I even experienced French press coffee for the first time, since the room had a French press and easy to follow instructions. Note: Breakfast is extra, but there are restaurants within a block or two where you can get breakfast if you choose to go it on your on. You probably won't see your innkeeper unless necessary. I happen to run into one of them, but is was happenstance. I loved the oversize tub. I have had two knee replacements and a tub is hard to maneuver in and out of. This one was spacious and so made it possible for me to have a nice hot soak. That was welcome after a day of driving on I-35S and after a day walking in San Anontio. Another plus is the proximity to the Alamo, the River Walk, and The Guenther House. Also, there is a self walking tour of this neighborhood itself. We parked our car and didn't use it until we were ready to leave. We loved Tito's restaurant two blocks away on Alamo Street.

We had such a nice stay at A Yellow Rose B&B. The location was perfect for a good walk to the Riverwalk, The Saga light show at St. Fernando, and the Alamo. We chose A Yellow Rose per recommendation from our friends, and we were not disappointed. We stayed in the Magnolia room and it was very comfortable. There were lots of local restaurants within walking distance for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You are right in the King Williams District and can stroll and enjoy the magnificent homes.

We stayed here for 5 nights while visiting family and enjoyed it greatly. The room was spacious and very nicely decorated. A very quiet setting but conveniently located to downtown, Riverwalk, and lots of great restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Deb and Kit are gracious and accommodating innkeepers. The property is in the charming King William neighborhood within walking distance of the River Walk. We stayed in the Bordeaux Room. This room is spacious with all the amenities one would need. I highly recommend A Yellow Rose Bed and Breakfast.

My wife and I stayed here March 31-April 2. It was a good location within easy walk of the Alamo and The River Walk. It was also close to a number of small unique restaurants. We stayed in the Magnolia room. It was spacious, clean, and quiet.
This B & B is unusual as it offers different price levels depending on what you chose to do for breakfast. Since we were going to be up and gone before the full breakfast was served, we chose to have just coffee and juice in the morning. It worked well for us. The hosts were very accommodating and we had a pleasant stay.
