Lots of things for your 4 legged friends to smell. Lots of shade for hot days. Beautiful scenery with a stream? flowing through most of the trail. Drive or walk 2 min and take your pooch to the Tea Gardens for extra fun. Better than a dog park.

Nice park with great potential but just too many homeless and garbage around. Its a travesty considering the cost to live this close to downtown. The dogs are not picked up after and makes it a bit nasty. SA, you could do better.

a mix of wild and great museums, quiet paths and a great train, roar of lions and the quiet of the Japanese Garden...lots to do, lots to see, ...

With delicious BBQ from a nearby but well known spot, we drove through and found a place to "picnic". Lots of families were out doing the same, playing games, flying kites, enjoying the fall weather. This followed our zoo visit and was a good respite stop.

New(ish) to the San Antonio area and looking for a good picnic spot. We ended up at Brackenridge and chose a spot next to the water. Wasn't all that scenic but was mostly secluded. The park was just okay but will visit again to see more of the park - and hoping another time of year will make for prettier views.
