Nice, friendly people trying to make a motel operation on a budget are cutting too many corners. The hot water tap in the tub was broken upon our arrival. Unfortunately we didn't discover it until the next morning when we attempted to shower to begin the day.

Need more attention from the owners on the reception and at laundry machine for the guests. also internet was very bad at rooms and TV options were minimal, was not even able to assist Oscar Awards this year.
Overall quite dirty, almost all of the outlets are worn out with black scorch marks. Bulb burned out over vanity, toilet room fan non-functional and hot water is barely warm after running for 10 minutes. The internet is not worth signing in to, and one of the desk chairs has something really disgusting on the back and seat. This is my first negative review ever, but others need to know about this hotel.
The exterior floor mats at the entrance of each room are no more than scrap carpet duct taped down. A serious tripping hazard. The fixtures in the shower are not actually attached to the wall. The electrical plugins were so loose that they were unable to hold a power cord. The lobby and staff are excellent. The breakfast provided is excellent. The sound of the train every couple hours makes a full night sleep impossible.
This hotel is disgusting inside and out. Holes in the door, water stains on the ceiling, stains on the curtains, mattresses and bedding, mold along the corners, rust in the bathtub, dirty bathroom, dust and grime on the shelf where the clean towels and extra toilet paper were. The mirror was flaking all along the bottom, the fridge had rust or dirt on the bottom of the door and for some reason the fridge microwave and coffee maker are in the bathroom blocking half or the counter and sink. It was so gross I didn't shower or touch anything. We used our own bedding and pillows because we had nowhere else to go on short notice. Don't go outside alone at night either. Very sketchy area.
Staff was nice, but property and room was dirty and run down. Carpet was stained. Hair in the bathroom. Walls need repainted. Outdated and in need of a complete overhaul. Laundry consisted of two old, very dirty washers and dryers located outside. No thanks.
