Stayed just one night here. The location (near my brother's place) and price were why I chose it. Its basically a house with two bedrooms and shared kitchen & living room. So, it depends on the reason for your visit to Tucson whether this is the place for you!

The furnishings are nice altho the furniture is a bit large for the rooms. That fact, and the huge - and tall - four poster bed in the master bedroom would make me steer folks with physical limitations away from at least renting that room. The bed is in the corner so the person up against the wall has to literally climb in and out! Once in the bed, it is lovely, though. Very very comfy. The bathroom we used was also on the small side. However the kitchen is large and fully set up for cooking if that's your need.

Very little in the way of outdoor seating which is a bit disappointing for a winter stay in Tucson. Also, don't expect a cooked breakfast..... we had juice, apple turnovers, fruit and yogurt left for us in the kitchen. The neighborhood is fine but not near the action in Tucson.

Room tip: If you need room to maneuver choose the secondary bedroom.

Very comfortable Casita. The bed was SO comfortable as were the accommodations. Everything you need for a wonderful stay is included. Great hot tub, privacy, nearby attractions and restaurants. It has it all. Dan is a great host.

A hidden treasure, casita fully outfitted, close to U of A, clean, comfortable, quiet, close to shopping and restaurants, and beautifully decorated in unique upscale southwestern motif!! Includes a small kitchen with everything you could possibly need, including copper pots and pans, microwave, refrigerator, stove, dishes and utensils, and oh so comfy bed. The owner even brought in an extra bed for my 2 children who stayed with us--and there was plenty of room to spare! Did I mention the large private hot tub? What a gorgeous spot to sit and watch the stars in complete privacy! We found this on the U of A recommended locations list and were extremely satisfied! Owners are friendly and completely accommodating. I hesitate to write this review to uncover my hidden treasure, but hope that others will read it and patronize this outstanding place!*****

This was my second stay at Arizona Casita. Since then the host/owner of this retro style casita has improved his offerings. We will be back for a third time.
The location is excellent near, but not too close to, the University, walking distance to my great eating places of all price points and walking distance to Whole Foods. The owner provides a well appointed kitchen if you choose to cook all meals or as few or as many as you like. The furnishings are great and the owner has gone out of his way to provide comfortable beds and all the state of the art electronics including wireless internet. There is also a hot tub for your comfort, a private outdoor patio/courtyard, and plentiful outdoor flowers. You have all the comforts of today but the ambiance of the Old West.

Dan is a great host. He mailed packages for us, provided additional pillows(we like a lot), and gave us great recommendations for events happening in town. Just enough connection, not like your typical B and B. Enjoy.
