Went here with my two daughters and my sister in law as a last minute decision. It was late afternoon and we stopped in for an early dinner late lunch. The host was accommodating as long as we thought we would be done by 5:30 as they were having a large party. The place is very inviting. Our waiter Brian was fantastic. The best waiter I have ever come across. His suggestions were dead on. Two of us couldn't decide on the meal we wanted so Brian suggested splitting them up and had the kitchen take care of dividing the food. The amount of food was way beyond plentiful. The quality was delicious. And again, our waiter...spectacular. A definite must try if ever at Federal Hill.

Andino's is in the "Federal Hill" area of Providence, and is separated into a bar area and a restaurant area. The restaurant area is small-ish and crowded. The food we ordered was very tasty -- fried calamari, stuffed mushrooms, chicken saltimbocca, chicken parmesan, and linguini. The service was very attentive and we were frequently approached by various employees asking how we were enjoying our meal (we were fine). I found the prices a little high, though. Valet parking is available; otherwise, parking is on the street, and rather challenging.

Was visiting my son at college with my wife and two teenage daughters and selected Andino's as a special place for dinner based on its re views. We were lucky to be able to make a reservation 1 week in advance and only 5pm was open for a table of 5. While most of the appetizers and entrees we ordered were very good, the dishes were a little inconsistent. The pumpkin ravioli appetizer was excellent but the calamari was just OK. The stuffed sirloin and veal chop specials were also excellent but the chicken parmesan and lobster ravioli were just OK. My daughters love pasta but they were not crazy about the sauce and the sausage that came with the spaghetti was very dry. We expected better based on the reviews and the price of the meal. Besides the food, our waiter, Brian, had a bit of an "edge" to his personality but he did a very good job. ‎ Valet parking is free at Andino's which is a great plus on Federal Hill as the small lots charge $20 or more.

Well we visited this restaurant last friday night in a busy crowded ambience with a party of six people and really we enjoy the abundant italian options that offered this place, We started with the little spicy Calamari Fritti and later we tried as main dishes various delicious plates including the Five Cheese Ravioli , Scrod Andino, Chicken Marsala ,Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimps ,Veal Parmigiana and the night special , big Veal Sirloin with mushrooms and cheese ,spectacular delicious except a little rare in the middle area and we get full in a hurry and past on the desserts. The service was good and overall prices are adequate ,in addition they had Valet parking .This restaurant offered abundant portions in all plates that you should share for more than 2 to 3 people and they are so busy this past weekend due to Brown University Fathers and Family Activities , give a trial to this place located in the Federal Hill area , Atwells Avenue in this capitol city of Rhode Island .

now RI has hundreds of Italian restaurants but only the best make it up to the Hill. If you are not good on the Hill you are gone. So I go to this really nice place for one of the best Veal Parm.meals. The veal is always done so nicely and is fork tender. The pasta is great and the gravy is outstanding. With a very good bread to take up the extra gravy I have died and gone to heaven. I do not do dessert and I am always full with the great portions that are served . The wait staff is great so we always have a good time. Yes,the parking is tough anywhere on the Hill so we use the valet service and alway give a good tip to the young guys. You will never go wrong when you go here.oh,to the out of State people,Gravy is the sauce for the pasta, etc.
