Their caponata and their toothsome bread is such a prelude to everything AMAZING we had for dinner. The burrata is firm and creamy with melt-in-your-mouth prosciutto and roasted peppers. The grilled octopus is fork tender, served with a luscious sauce with butter beans and crispy prosciutto. Their beef carpaccio was sensual and paired like a dream with the Barolo of the evening. And although my son's carbonara with its lovely egg yolk nestled gently in its nest of perfect pasta, was decadence on a plate, and my branzino was perfectly serviced by its beluga lentils... that VEAL CHOP stuffed with more prosciutto and cheese, with its seared crispy exterior and its medium rare and juicy, sultry flesh... is worth coming back for. SERIOUSLY porn on a plate! Pricing is right for all dishes. And Alex as our server? Coy and professional, witty and charming, he just made us feel so catered to and stuffed our faces with some of the most elegant food we have had in a while!
