Great food and great service and what you'd expect from a diner style joint. Visited a few times and never left disappointed.

We have always had a wonderful breakfast the Big Horn during each of our Estes Park visits. Highly recommend!
We have had dinners and desserts and lunches here but breakfast is where The Big Horn shines.
When people criticise the Big Horn, I think they have the wrong place or impossible standards.
I love omelets and their 3-egg (three, are you kidding me - there have to be more than three eggs in there) omelets are ginormous. My husband had his usual two eggs over easy, sugared ham, hash browns and toast and my granddaughter's eyes popped out at her plate size pancake.
This is a local favorite and that's great because folks are friendly.
The servers are so quick and efficient it's like they glide along on roller skates.
Ambiance? Decor? Gosh! I hope they never change. It might scare the elk away.
this restaurant is across the parking lot from hotel by the look of it is is very popular with locals. That's always a good sign. We had breakfast it was fresh, hot and delicious. Omelets are amazing.
The service and food is always good. Soup (home made) and salad bar. The food is always hot. Nothing fancy, just fresh and hot food at a descent price. Location, everywhere in Estes is a good location. The Rockies are always smiling down on us here which makes anything better. The Big Horn always has a variety of fresh pies , which I always enjoy. One must pay attention to the winter hours. They can accommodate large groups.
