This is our 2nd trip back to Paradise on the River. I found this beautiful get away 2 years ago when we had my husband's suprise 55th Birthday and we stayed at Hallet's Peak. It was fantastic. I tried to go back last year but they were booked solid.
Paradise on the River is a gem that's been found.
We had the opportunity for a one night get away last week and they had The River's End cabin open so we came up. We had dinner at Dunraven's then back to our cabin, listing to the river watching the full moon come over the trees shinning down on the river with the fire ring on the deck that kept us toasty warm. There was no wind! a perfect night.
Thank you for great memories and we will be back! Dan & Kay

Just completed a 2-night stay at Paradise. Rented the Elk Crossing cabin and absolutely LOVED it. Such a nicely-appointed cabin to begin with, and the location right on the river was perfect. I don't think we closed the doors the entire time we were there because it was so nice listening to the river just outside. The kitchen had all the appliances (coffee provided) and dishes/cookware you would need and the gas grill and gas fire pit were a nice touch. Inside, the pair of recliners split by an electric fireplace added a touch of warmth and comfort. The staff were friendly and helpful. Saw at least a dozen elk during our stay there, some standing in the river just feet away from our cabin's deck. We absolutely loved our stay and are already planning a trip back next year, for far more than just 2 nights.

Room Tip: The Elk Crossing cabin sat right on the river (all their cabins do) and had a queen bed in the bedro...

We stayed in the RV rental that allows pets & was surprised at how clean it was! It had 2 slideouts- one was a closet the other the dining/ sitting area. Plenty of room (31 footer) inside & liked that the dining table was a table with chairs. Plenty of lighting & storage! Already booked the rv for next fall. Staff was nice too! :-)
Might be a tight squeeze bringing in your own rv but overall it was a nice place.

You would think that staying in an RV park would be sketchy. Turns out, Paradise on the River is a gem! Yes, it is a little crammed, but it is so quiet and with the sound of the river & plenty of little outdoor spaces, it was hardly noticeable that it was an RV park. Seriously, the RV was awesome...super clean, spacious, and had everything you needed, for a great price! And the bath towels and linens were plush! Our friends stayed in the cabins, and they were absolutely immaculate and so gorgeous. This is a great find, in a perfect location. You are right outside of Estes Park, so a little bit away from all of the touristy stuff, but close enough to everything you need and minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. I can't say enough great things about this place!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Moose Meadow RV...it was very spacious and had a really private outdoor area with g...

My husband and I just stayed there for our wedding and reception and it was absolutely perfect!!!! We stayed at Creekview cabin with our dog and our family stayed at some of the other cabins, RV's and the large house Hallet's Peak. The staff was so warm and welcoming, very accomodating to all our needs, just like family, super nice and friendly, I can't say enough about them! Carol and the owner Diana were great! The cabins looked very very new! So well decorated and extraordinarily clean!!!!!!!! I couldn't get over how homey they felt, yet a cabin feel. They had all the stuff we needed, pots/pans, glasses, silverware, towels, coffemaker, etc!!! We stayed in a 4 person dog friendly cabin, you'd never know there were dogs even in there ever, amazing views of the river and hills nearby and elk in the morning on the river! It was a decent size, maybe a little cramped for 4 people but 2 and a dog was fine but we also had tons of stuff with us too. The beds were super comfortable and the sheets were better than my own! I just loved sitting on our deck with our fire ring and listening to the river and drinking coffee. It's a small lot with many RVs but it was super quiet, especially with the river noises. There's a separate doggie potty area too. We were able to leash our dog to the deck so he was able to enjoy inside and out. He had a few moments of barking but no one ever spoke to us about it. Being Oct, a lot of people were gone from their permanent RV's so we had plenty of space for our family and guests to park. We had a short wedding ceremony at Lily lake and a mini reception back at the cabins at the larger cabin/house Hallets Peak. We had about 34 people and had plenty of space, it worked out perfect! They had plenty of picnic tables for us, plenty of lawn area and deck space, it worked out very well, I suggest it for any get together! Overall, we are so glad we did a destination wedding in Estes, and we are so happy with our stay at Paradise!!! We definitely plan on returning!!!!

Room Tip: Creek View and Pine Creek cabins have the best view
