A good place to stop for the night. It's in town close to everything. A great place to pull in your rig. Take a good shower, sleep in a clean bed. This place has been remodeled. It is withing walking distance to many places in Crescent City.

The beds were comfortable but the rooms are too small and poorly designed. Hardly any open surfaces to leave stuff on. There wasn't even a single electrical outlet in a convenient location. To charge my phone, I had to move the night table and unplug the clock. Even the parking spaces are too narrow, and the lot was undersized. Felt cramped the whole time. Would not stay here again.

Apparently this was the Travelodge but is now called the Redwood Inn. It's an older-style motel that is just OK to stay in. Room was large and clean, but the carpet is well past needing replacement. Beds are new and comfortable. Good shower. Good wifi. No air conditioning. Located on a bare block between the northbound and southbound 101, next to the Taco Bell drive through, so not quiet. Friendly staff. Ok for a stopover.

Just changed hands but the new owner is trying very hard to get things right. Motels are ridden hard and often put away wet so to speak. Looking forward to a return trip. You can walk to Wing Wah Restaurant, Safeway and McDonalds in on block. You are here for a clean bed and accommodations and that is what you get...get outside and explore the city and the ocean.

Room Tip: Even the rooms facing 6th street are quiet at night.

We needed a room for the night. Nothing fancy and nothing fancy was what we got. $90 a night for 2 queen beds. Room was clean and not too dated. Shower was warm and bed was comfortable. We missed the breakfast as it finished at 9.
