When driving from Kona to Volcanoes National Park, or if heading south on highway 11 after a morning visit to Pu'uhonua o Hōnaunau National Park, this is a great place to stop. There’s no food at Pu'uhonua o Hōnaunau National Park, so plan ahead. We enjoyed pulling off the road for a rest. Well, those of us who were not driving enjoyed it. Our fearless driver had to make a U-turn to go back to this stand because it came up quick. We were glad we did. The smoothies were delicious. The paninis were filling and kept us going all day. The macadamia nut desert was decadent. We picked up a giant avocado and some dried fruit to take with us too. The outdoor seating is up a few stairs under a canopy of plants and umbrellas. On the way, you can peer up into the tree-filled hillside. Don’t let the spiders bother you. It is a delightful place for a little lunch.

This easy-to-miss fruit stand is a must for lovers of exotic and unusual fruit. Over the years we have found it has some of the most unusual finds, as well as typical tropicals. On this day, supply and variation was down, but what was there was perfect - just ripe and blemish free. There is a small assortment of other items including some baked goods. These are hit and miss. The cookie we took away was hard and brittle as if it was old, though it was full of big delicious macadamias and good value for that.

I've been coming to this place for years and it never disappoints. It's an easy stop after snorkeling at "two step". In addition to an extensive variety of home grown local fruits and vegetables, they have the best fruit smoothies. I'm partial to the number 1. They are also eco friendly using compostable cups etc.

They offer a great selection of organic, exotic fruits grown on the farm adjacent to the fruit stand. The smoothies are awesome and fresh Kona coffee is made fresh by the cup when you order. The coconut macaroons are to die for. We stopped for a third time and ordered up their sandwiches which are prepared pannini style with real cheddar - yummy. Worth the stop!

Fresh, organic, and delicious. The owner is very friendly and helpful with what each fruit is and how to enjoy it. Everything is ready to eat and none of my purchase made it more than a couple hours before I enjoyed every last bite. I seriously couldn't stop myself from eating everything because it was so good.
