Somehow we got lost and arrived 20 minutes late, but no problems. The staff was very accomidating and lovely. Our food was delicious and nicely presented. A very interesting country style atmosphere, with a bit of Europe in the decore and surrounds. We went on a cold night and it was very cozy. I had stuffed zuchini flowers, venison as a main and a lovely coconut sofbet desert with much more. We do recommend it.

Recommended by the friendly staff at Lakes Folly whose cellar door is a great experience in itself. They phoned the Bistro and arranged a table for our party of 4.
Arrived to a warm welcome and a wonderful view over the valley. The bistro has indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit indoors in a very large room with lots of space between tables. Refreshing to not have to listen to conversations at neighboring tables.
The menu is varied and extensive with a French influence. The staff are young but well trained and very attentive to eye contact. A request to share dishes was well received and the dishes adjusted accordingly. The food lived up to the recommendation and was of a very high standard in flavor and generosity. The most difficult task was choosing our dishes from a very well balanced menu. Would highly recommend and look forward to a return visit.

The restaurant has an outstanding view down the hill and across the valley There are options inside and out in a beautiful cottage. The menu is broad. Four of us dined there and none of us doubled up. The food was delightful and we all had sneaky tastes of each others meals. The service was professional and friendly. This is one of the best dining experiences I have ever had and have no hesitation in recommending Bistro Molines.

We were staying local and went to Bistro Molines for lunch on Thursday. What a lovely experience! It was so enjoyable that we worked through entree, main course, dessert and coffee. The restaurant has a French charm in its decor, it has a relaxed, friendly and welcoming ambiance about it. It has a lovely view over the vines and down the valley. The service is first class, friendly and professional but not pushy. The menu was varied - he had the Baked Figs with Gorgonzola and she the Braised Mussels as entrees: loved both! For mains the Roast Duckling was so tender and tasty but the Venison was only so, so - on the tough side. Dessert were great, as was the coffee and, of course, the Vermentino wine. We loved our few hours at Bistro Molines and highly recommend it.
