This was the vacation my wife and I needed! The grounds are beautiful, the beach is nice, the Serenity pool is perfect, with great service. This was our first time in Hawaii and will not be our last because of the service we received. Everyone used our names, very attentive. The days we left the resort, we were greeted with water by the guys outside. Special shot out to Russ for giving my wife tips on where to run and being so kind. The area is not nearly as busy as the West side. That can be good and bad depending on what you want in your vacation. We enjoyed the area and ventured out a few days, Road to Hana was really cool. We drove the entire thing in reverse, which I would recommend. There are some high-end shops within walking distance, and the house cars will take you to several places-don't forget to tip your driver! Food was amazing. The buffet breakfast is fantastic. made-to-order omlettes, French toast, waffles, etc. Try every restaurant in the resort. Spago's for dinner was our favorite, but no complaints about Duo, Ferraros, either. Lineage in the shops had a great dinner as well. Back to the resort. If you want first class service and accommodations, this is it. We went to a nearby resort, and immediately could tell the difference in service.
