This is our second time to this property and the service was over the top. Food was great and plenty of places to sit around the pools. Quiet with not a lot of kids. They will drive you to any establishment around Wailea. The beach is beautiful and plenty of chairs to sit in. Lots of honeymooners.

Room Tip: We had a suite and plenty of room

We stayed for 2 nights. It was absolutely perfect. The multiple pools, the food and the staff.

The sunsets were gorgeous and we really didn't even want to leave the resort to travel out.

We will definitely come back. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Jess

I would return here. There are a few issues with the room, it is small, electrical outlets are lacking, be sure to bring lots of extension cords if you want to charge phones etc. Lighting is strange, so just be forewarned to not expect good lighting. There is no place to hang wet clothes, like bathing suits, bring plastic hangers. Just not a lot of space for 2 people in the room, and very narrow desk. There is just not a lot of planning for actually staying in the room. The bathroom is narrow, and too much space is devoted to a shower, rather than space to move!

Room Tip: we had ocean front, very nice

This hotel was an absolute dream! My husband and I recently spent our honeymoon in Maui and we are so happy we decided to stay at the Andaz. Where do I start?

The hotel: The pool is beautiful with multiple levels of infinity pools looking out over the beach. The pool staff treat each guest like VIPs-- as soon as we picked out chairs there was an attendant to lay our towels and a server with a food and drink menu.
The pool also provides complimentary sunscreen and water to their guests. The grounds are gorgeous as well as the beach. We were able to rent stand up paddle boards one morning complimentary. Another day, we spent just laying at the beach and sea turtles were swimming right there at the shore line-- it was so cool! The hotel also offers complimentary snorkel gear to guests so we were able to see the turtles under water as well. Also, do not miss the sunsets here, seriously plan your day around it because they are unbelievable.

Food: The food at this hotel is amazing. If your room package gives you an option to include breakfast, do it! The breakfast buffet is insane -- juice bar, seafood, omelet station, pastry bar, egg bakes. Everything was so tasty. The hotel also offers complimentary coffee in the lobby each morning which was delicious. Morimoto has amazing sushi-- we could have eaten there multiple times. Most surprising to me was how delicious the food and drinks were at the pool bar. We ate there multiple times and loved every single dish. (Must try the Ahi poke). Kaana Kitchen Chef's table is worth checking out as well, make sure you do the tasting menu!

Location: This is our first time to Maui and I'm so glad we stayed in Wailea. There is a path along the beach where you can take a walk/run and see all the other hotels -- which only confirmed we made the right choice. The Andaz is so modern and luxurious. Wailea has great restaurants, right next to Kihel for a more "locals" feel. We were told the local liquor store and Foodland has the best poke bowls around so we drove over to get some one night (they were right!). Wailea is pretty "central" so Road to Hana, OGG Airport, Paia are not a big commute, unlike Lahainia. Also, MUST go to MonkeyPod restaurant in Wailea.

We cant wait to go back!

Room Tip: I would definitely book an ocean view, the views from this hotel are incredible. Especially the sunset!

First of all, it’s not cheap but it’s a special trip for our family so I decided to pay up a bit for this vacation. I have to say that they did not disappoint at all. Staff was friendly. They are eager to help. Staff at the beach, at the check in counter, concierge, restaurants, all exceeded my expectation. I planned some activities out of the hotel but I wished I had planned less because the hotel offers a lot already. Stayed for 3 nights and my family wants to come back ASAP. Oh and my wife loves the spa there.
