We didn't want to leave!! Everything was PERFECT! Joe and Precious welcomed us to their beautiful home and we were so comfortable! The lovely music was the icing on the cake!! The bedroom was spacious and gorgeous. We can't wait to go back.

We stayed two nights at Stonehouse Musical and loved every minute of it! Joe was the perfect host who left nothing to chance. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast Joe cooked every morning, his puppy Precious, the spotless rooms, and Joe’s knowledge of the history of Natchez as well as everything current. The greatest surprise was what a fabulous pianist he is. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Natchez.

Joe is a fabulous host, very welcoming, helpful and friendly. He obviously has a passion to share his lovely historic home and the whole town with all who come to visit. Our breakfast was done to perfection on fine antique china, even when there was just two of us eating. I Loved the tiny silver jampot filled with fruit preserves over warm, melt in your mouth biscuits. One could spend hours and days inspecting all Joe's antique pieces, prints and maps and never even leave the house. And we had our own private piano concert on the first night as an addition to our perfect welcome. Loved it!

Joe and Precious were the ideal hosts, making us feel welcome in the city. Joe shared the history of the many antiques and maps in the home, along with info about Natchez itself. We stayed in the master bedroom, finding the room very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed our conversation with Joe during that time. A special treat was the private concert we had on our second night. Joe is quite an artist and the experience was enhanced by his thoughts on the piece and composer. Stay here if you can!

We stayed in the Stone House Musical B&B for two nights and were impressed by the ambiance and the gentility of the place. It is full of antiques but not at all overwhelming, rather like the house of a cultured and well-read family member. Joe made us feel very welcome, explained to us the history of the house and the various artefacts, it was truly a wonderful experience! I must mention the exceptional breakfasts that Joe cooked, served on heirloom silver and china, beautifully presented and very, very tasty. Overall, a wonderful experience. I do hope that Natchez will recover: we felt that the city was basking in past glory but that the present and the future dont really have much to offer or look forward to. It is hard to imagine that such a beautiful place is just slowly declining and everyone accepts that it is so and nothing can be done.
